Cowgill helped orchestrate some of the best defenses in school history before being named the head coach of the Panthers in 2008, going 19-22 in four seasons. -

Mathis spent four seasons calling plays at Austin Anderson before getting his first head coaching job at Somerville High School. He also served as head coach at Austin LBJ High School. Mathis played college football at Southwest Texas State, where he was an All-America running back and punt returner in the mid-90s. -

Rice played defensive back for seven years in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, recording 386 tackles, 12 interceptions, 6½ sacks and was named the team’s recipient for the Walter Payton/NFL Man of the Year Award in 2000. He played collegiately at Eastern Michigan, where he was first-team All-Mid-American Conference after his senior year. He was selected to the EMU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.

As a coach and player, Heikkinen has won three European champions and eight national championships. The five-time Coach of the Year in Finland was inducted into the SAFL Hall of Fame in 2008. -

Before becoming head coach of the Australian National Team, Leijten spent seven seasons with the Amsterdam Admirals of the NFL Europe, coaching running backs, linebackers and special teams. Leijten also coached with the Cologne Crocodiles in the German Football League and played professional in the Netherlands. -

Wikström is a newcomer to the World Team. He will serve as offensive coordinator. European Champion both as a player and as a coach, Wikstrom is a five-time national champion as the offensive coordinator for the Helsinki Roosters in the Finnish Maple League. His international coaching experience includes stints in Sweden (Tyresö Royal Crowns) and with the Czech Republic national team. He is the founder and current head coach of the Finnish Quarterback academy and currently serves as the offensive coordinator for Team Finland. -
Shinzo Yamada

Yamada returns to the World Team as the special teams coordinator, the same role he held in 2012. Yamada coached with Japanese National Team that claimed the bronze medal at the 2011 IFAF Senior World Championship and is currently the head coach of IBM Big Blue in Japan. He has served as head coach of Japan's junior national team program. He played in NFL Europe and the XFL and spent time in training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003, playing against the New York Jets during an American Bowl preseason game in the Tokyo Dome.
